C&rsquo;\u00e9tait un immense mar\u00e9cage arros\u00e9 par une multitude de bras de Sorgues. L&rsquo;ass\u00e8chement des marais par les moines de Thouzon fut achev\u00e9 en 1514.\u00a0<\/p><p>L&rsquo;agriculture put alors se d\u00e9velopper, et attira de nombreuses familles, cr\u00e9ant le hameau des Valayans.
